Wearing wedding dress at dinner

I did an Ohana reception and I did change but only because I had to wear my dress again the very next week for my reception at home. I was not certain I wouldn't get anything on that dress at Ohana and there was no time to clean it if I did.

I bought a simple white lace strapless sundress and wore my veil to dinner. I 'let' my bridesmaids change also and my parents did as well.

BTW, I"ll be at Ohana for dinner on Dec 3rd for the bride who will be having a reception then!

Ooh ooh! That's me! We'll be there at 5:15 for dinner...I'll be the one in the big wedding dress :goodvibes

Just recently I was associated with a Bride and Groom who were married at 3PM on a Friday afternoon at the Court House. A dinner RECEPTION was planned for 5PM at their favorite restaurant with their parents, brothers, and sisters. On Sunday afternoon the Bride's parents hosted A PARTY for the newlyweds at a nice restaurant, about 75 people were invited to the luncheon. Two weeks later the Groom's Mother hosted A PARTY for the newlyweds in the Groom's hometown (about 250 miles away). The Bride wore a wedding gown and the Groom wore a tuxedo at both the Court House ceremony and the dinner afterwards and the Sunday afternoon party that the Bride's parents hosted. The Bride wore a wedding gown and the Groom wore a new dark suit to the party hosted by his Mother two weeks later.

Another bride planning on an Ohanas reception and wearing my dress to dinner! Our date is Dec 6, 2010- we are staying at the Poly so I will be able to change before we head to the parks afterwards. When we had dinner at Ohanas in April I saw a group with a bride waiting to be seated! Looks like some of you may have had your weddings by now- how did it go? Did you wear your dresses?

I'm not going to Ohana, but am wearing my dress to HDDR! I figure it's my wedding day and I want to enjoy it for as long as I can! We're also having a Wishes DP at Sago Cay after so I'll literally be in my dress from 5 AM until about 10 PM...lol
