Wearing Best Guest pin

Isn't it kind of dishonest to wear a best guest room or game award and not earn it? People ask me for mine all the time and we can't trade them now but we could at one time.

I was in a room tonight with a girl that kind of walks the line between fair and not so fair trading so I always keep an eye on her. People were talking about her room which was pretty cool and the topic came up that she already won best guest. She didn't correct them which I would have it someone implied that I won an award that I did not.

I didn't remember her ever winning it so I asked her if she won it or traded for the award. At first she acted like she was confused and then said she didn't remember. I responded that I found it highly unlikely she won best guest and didn't remember.

She then said she got it from a friend who quit.

Now, it's this a little dishonest? It implies that she won and award that she didn't.

Just another case of a kid whos integrity isn't where it should be.

I always kept mine and never traded it because I could never see how it would mean more to someone who didn't earn it other than someone who did earn it. I like to trade if I feel it means more to the other person. Somehow that pin never really fell into that category. I agree with you.

That's funny, as I was talking about trading Best Guest pins tonight.
I didn't know if I could trade mine, so I opened a trade window with a
friend just to test it.

I was glad to discover that I couldn't trade mine away.
Sure, I agree that the trade option was blocked for the reasons you state.
