Wearing A Thong On Castaway Cay

Could someone explain why 95% of the females who wear thongs, actually wear them? Thongs would only look good on about 1% of the female population. Even then, they are not appropriate on a disney cruise.

They think it is a "good look"...I think they need to stop looking in their "thinning mirrors" :rotfl2:

If the average female on a Disney cruise looks like the average female at WDW - I agree. I wish I had a butt worthy of being seen wearing a thong, or even a bikini. Until I do - you're all safe! :teeth:

I personally don't have a problem with women wearing thongs, whether they look good in them or not. Most of the French women on our cruise wore thongs, and the little girls didn't wear tops, only bathing suit bottoms. It's the norm in many countries, and while it's not my style, I don't mind if my daughter, niece or nephew see them. They've seen worse, unfortunately.

I have not seen that yet (thank god) on any of my Disney Cruises and the last cruise I took last year was to Alaska and didnt see anyone on that ship either in a thong.

I don't know why thongs would not be appropriate on a Disney cruise when you have got a duck that isn't wearing any pants!!!

I don't care if they wear a throng or not
All I ask is they have a body for it.

Trust me, this pooh shaped person would not look good in one.
Neither would me wife :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ( Even she would tell you that.)

Aren't most of the waiters in Paris rude to Americans? The kids learned a valuable lesson. By the way, was the head waiter wearing a thong?

Mothers in thongs on Disney cruises...that is more disgusting than a head waiter in France.

Yep, in Paris.

Of my five DCL cruises only once have I seen a mom wearing a thong. And she did have the body to wear it.

Now I have seen non-US moms wearing bikini bottoms cut further up the backside than you usually see in this country. So, sort of a half-thong but it had ruffles along the top...actually a very, very pretty bathing suit. I couldn't tell what country these ladies were from but whatever country it is, they must ban cellulite because these moms had perfect bodies and had toddlers with them.

a woman in a thong--better have a good butt to show!!! What is worse is the man we saw while snorkeling in a skin tight speedo:sick: now if that isn't a site to behold for your kids:scared:

Ok so what are the bathing suits at the adult pool like... and I guess top less in not an option?

PG

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Sorry dear, I don't think anyone wants to see The Girls, even at the adult pool! ;)

I agree with you on the guys in speedos!!:scared1: It is much worse than a thong.

We had a gal on on our last DCL cruise in a couple of different thongs during our trip. Never saw her get wet in any of the pools, at least she stayed near the adult pool; it was closest to the bar! She should not have been in one. She had more cellulite than me (that's saying a lot) her skin looked like leather and she was drunk. Wish I would have had my camera when she went chasing after Mickey and he turned around the other way! :lmao: We saw her later that evening at dinner...just as tacky. She didn't dare sneeze in that dress. She was definately the talk of the cruise, not only by the women but the guys too. I'm by no means a prude, she was just really skanky

I'm (mostly) opposed to thongs on a Disney cruise.
But thats only because I've been on several Disney cruises and didn't drink enough.
There is a fitness center onboard where I have encountered numerous "thong worthy" passengers.
Many of them are mothers of one or more offspring.

Ladies and gentlemen please remember that is a family board and we do have kids reading here. I've removed the pictures and with the OP's question being answered I'm going to close this thread.
