We won tickets!!

We won some tickets to our local hockey team for tomorrow's game (they start their season tonight). Anyway, the tickets are to a special suite with a hot tub in it. It's the only one in the arena. The hot tub company who gave out the tickets said they would probably put us on the big screen TV during the game. He was also worried that whoever got the tickets wouldn't show up for the game. We told him we were excited and if he had anymore, we'd take them in a minute.

So, Saturday night is ice hockey in the hot tub. Should be fun.

Well, the hot tub company called us Sat afternoon to make sure we still wanted to do this. We said "Of course we do". The people who were supposed to do it Friday night at the hockey game didn't get into the hot tub. They just partied with another group that had an open bar in the Club area.

We had a great time. My son invited a friend to come along. As soon as we got there, we got into the hot tub. Had to warm it up a bit, it was only set on 80 degrees, so we pushed it up to 104. We had lots of people in the area coming by to see what we were doing, asking how we got this. Including several friends of our who happened to be at the hockey game. During the second period, they had someone with a microphone come by and ask us how we liked the hot tub. We were on the big screen TV during this time (right in the center of the arena, four sides so every one can see).

We had so much fun. We're gonna tell the hot tub people that we'd love to be their spokesfamily for the hot tub. We'll sit in the hot tub during more hockey games, during concerts, maybe Disney on Ice, on floats in a parade, at the shopping mall. We'll just have to see what they say.
