I know, what a prize.

We went to the beer tasting seminar. It's $8.00 per person in Diversions and you're served 4 different types of beer. It's kind of odd to smell your beer first, but that's what we were told to do.

I only liked one kind. One was too sweet and the other two too bitter for my taste.

Afterwards, they had a trivia contest. I'm not giving the questions away, but my team was the proud winner of a pitcher of beer.

Who needs medals when you can get Yeungling!!!

Awesome! DH and I make our own beer, and also try every kind we can get our hands on - and we have quite a few nice microbrew type restaurants around us here in the Boston area. I'd love to try this, is it offered fairly regularly do you know?

ps - was in PA this past August, and had my first "Ying-ling" ....had to take a case home with me!

Here's a quick question then...we were somewhat disappointed by the beer selection we see on Barb's amazing site... (I think that's where we saw it! *grin*) - but it sounds like they have a little bit more of a selection? Do you happen to remember the choices??

Which cruise was this on? The 7-day? I know my DH would love to go to a beer-tasting (we did the wine tasting on the 3-day).

Swandiver, we're on the Magic and as far as I know, it's only on the 7 day cruise. We noticed that they offered it again today.

They have Yeungling on tap, but I can't remember the other choices. I'll check later on tonight when I waddle down to Diversions. (I'm not getting within a mile of a scale when I get home.)
