We have 5 years to using them And we can use up to 20 rooms at a time, which means we can take our extended family with us or invite our friends to come along

It´s "only" around 70 hotelnights each year, which means that if we use up 2-3 rooms (double occupancy) per night we will use approx. 3 weeks each year. As soon as we allow others to share with us we will use up even more. In a couple of months I´m heading to a conference in Copenhagen, Denmark and will treat my fellow teachers to a 2 nights free stay while we´re there Easy

Thank you! We had to convince a lot of people to vote for us and since we succeeded pretty well I honestly hope that means we came across as nice people, because we really try to be

Definitely! My DSis has a friend in Reykjavik that she's been wanting to visit. Maybe I can make the trip with her one of these days. Geirrún was mad last year when my sister went to Paris instead of coming to visit her. It was my sister's graduation present from my parents. Mom was afraid of the food you eat. (She doesn't eat lamb.) All she likes is chicken. Mom doesn't get out much.

In the United States you would have to pay income taxes on a prize like this. Do they treat it the same way in Iceland? I hope they don't! It sounds like a great prize if you don't have to pay taxes on it.
