We will be on Thanksgiving Cruise from Galveston on Magic. Anybody else?

Just booked the Magic Thanksgiving Cruise from Galveston, November 2012.
Hubby and I will be going. We got a deluxe family suite with a Verandah. I can do inside stateroom and be fine but hubby did the booking, because I am a teacher and can't make phone calls at 7:00 am Central Time.

We live in the North Austin area. Anybody else?

We are in! Changed my Fantasy sailing to this one (the savings in Airfare alone makes it SO worth it!) We are in the DFW area; it will be me, DH, DD6 and DS8, and my mom will be in an adjoining room with ? (she hasn't decided who she will bring along...).
We are SO excited about the Magic being in Texas!

(I was so excited when the announcement/leak was made a few days ago, I also almost started a thread then...on Tuesday!) I bet when IrishCowboy gets caught up, the threads will be merged. Have you guys noticed how popular this sailing is already?! All of the inside and oceanview rooms are sold out, and booking has only been open since yesterday!

Me too Waited 3 hrs on the phone to book 3 cabins today for my family. Which include. in one cabin me (grandma), grandsons 14 and 10.
with connecting cabin;my son,DIL, grandson 7 and new Baby that is due in Sept.
3rd cabin has my daughter SIL,granddaughter 17 and grandson 15.We are happy to be driving from San Antonio.
We are all going on The Dream on the June 7th 5 Day Cruise.Can't wait.

Jenny - I personally wasn't affected but I know a lot of people were. It is sad. I have been teaching over 30 yrs though and have been in my present district for a long time. I taught in SC for 20 yrs before moving to TX. I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I hope she finds a good position through surplus. Is she elementary or secondary?

Mickey's girl - Hubby and I just went on the Dream 4 night over Spring Break. It was HEAVEN! We went to the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival for two days after the cruise. We had a great time.

I am looking forward to driving to Galveston and saving the airfare! The Dream Spring Break was Hubby's first Disney Cruise and now he is hooked It was my third. My first was a Wonder 3 night solo and then a Wonder Double Dip with my adult daughter. I am so glad Hubby is now hooked too. I have two more Dream Cruises booked for Spring Break 2010 and June 2010 - first with hubby, second with daughter. So the Galveston Magic should be my first cruise as a Gold Castaway Club member - so exciting.

Count me in! This cruise has a lot of first for us. This will be our first cruise, our first holiday vacation (we are usually home bodies around the holidays), and the first big vacation with DD. It's going to be a great cruise!

Yes, we are and I booked several families on this date and also the Dec. dates as well.

We did the Thanksgiving 7 night cruise in 2010 !! It was really fun!! The only thing I will miss will be seeing CC all Holiday dressed! The island looks so fun at the holiday time.

Since my school district does not give us a full week off for Thanksgiving, we will not be joining you. BUT, the DCL website is now showing 2 cruises over Christmas, so I am looking at those....
