low 80's sound wonderful after the Phoenix heat. :thumbsup2

yeah its gonna be warm....dont know what weather channel you are checking but the only day in the low 80's is the day you are going to be there...the remainder of the week will be between 85-87...lots of humidity right now and thats gonna make it hotter...also ( and it could change in the next couple of days) due to the humidity, the lowest its supposed to get at night is 67º...lowest it got down to last night (and that was a couple hours before daylight was 66)...so definitely shorts and bring the jacket just in case:goodvibes

It's been really hot, shorts and tshirt weather this week. I never used the sweatshirts we brought.

We'd morning got a little bit misty and felt really humid in the morning but not enough to need a raincoat.

CA is crazy when it comes to weather seadd67..it changes from month to month, year to year. the only thing I can honestly say that Im sure of when it comes to weather is that in Aug and beginning of Sept. its hot!!! Other than that, its different every year....although I go to DL during all different times of the year, I myself have been at DL during the months of Oct-Dec. for over 20 years straight...Ive done every halloween party except the first one... but even with that said, Oct. is still a nice warm month in the day and it gets chilly at night after the sun goes down...now keep in mind, I live here and since you are from a colder climate then what I consider cool/cold and what you consider cool/cold is very different. Still I dont feel as if Oct. would be shorts weather..the best thing I say to everyone in regards to weather. is to start checking 10 days out with the weather online and keep checking...Even up to 2 days before your trip it could change major...I always suggest layering...take short, capris, jeans etc. and short sleeves and jackets so that way if its too warm you take off..if it gets cool you add

This is what I am finding...we are there next week 15th-23rd. I have been checking forcasts the last 2 weeks.......I am finally giving up until a few days before we go. They have fluctuated up and down wildly. One day it seems the 17th is going to be 37C and the next it is forecasted to be 25C. Until we gat closer to I am just planning on being prepared for really hot to moderately warm, with light jackets for night if we need them. I guess we just really will only know for sure the day of!!! lol

anything in the 60's would be short weather for me, now the evenings could be a different story?. Might just rent a locker and stick a bag with pants, and a light jacket In there for later in the evening.

We were at DLR last weekend, Saturday through Monday, and I was dying. It felt like a cooker to me during day. I'm from the Phoenix area too and I thought anything would be better than being at home. But I couldn't believe that my legs felt like they were stinging from the heat at 8:30 in the morning while standing in line for AP EE. Now the evenings were beautiful, no need for a sweater. But it felt a lot hotter than WDW when we were there in April. I guess I'm not used to the humidity and also probably because I'm getting old. :rolleyes2

no rocketeer...its not age:rotfl:...as I stated in a previous post...the entire state of CA has been dealing with a LOT of humidity this summer...we are not known for humidity any more than AZ is but for some reason weve been getting it...and not just a little bit...its been averaging 65-75% humidity for several weeks now..we are all dying:crazy2:

I agree with the unpredictability in the weather.

My experience, though, is that typically the weather is HOT the first two weeks in October, and by the last week we turn the heater on at home because it cools down. I live by LAX.

In November, we usually get one pretty hot week, and the rest is cooler.

For the past several years, we've typically humid end of August/September months. Some years we get to skip it (I think last year was particularly nice), but this year it's back.

Not only has it been humid for a while here in California, but tomorrow - the start of Halloween Time - it is supposed to be in the range of 95 - 97 degrees in Anaheim (I have seen different reports that gave different numbers)!:scared::scared: That is just not pleasant on any level, although at least it's not as bad as the crazy 115-degree weather (or whatever the exact number was) two years ago in this same week!

Last year, on the starting day of Halloween Time, it was in the upper 70's/low 80's and it was overcast for half of the day. What a difference a year makes.

Summer is on its way out, but it is not leaving us quietly. It is going out with a bang!:sunny:

It has been unbelievably hot lately. Worse than that, it has been very humid. Really unusual for September.

If you are coming in the next five days, plan on temps being in the 90s. Yes, that's right 90s. Plus humidity. In fact, the other day, it rained for about 10 minutes around 6pm about an hour from Anaheim due to the humidity.

I was at the Park with friends a few days ago and our slogan for the day was, "Icky sticky." Sorry, but true. It was just hot and sticky.

It cools down some in the evening, but not cold. MAYBE a very light jacket/cover. Temp in the Park is a bit different because it's protected, but that's the general overview of recent weather.
