So we receive and email from DU asking if we were willing to give up our Cat 4 for two Cat 6. In addition they would upgrade our friends from Cat 11 to Cat 7.

We would have more room for 4 people (pro). :) The rooms are right next to each other (pro). :) Two bathrooms (pro) :) Verandah is metal on the bottom (con). :sad1: Our friends get a navigators verandah. (pro) :)

So we decided to go for it. I was wondering however, what happens to the box I sent last week with the old stateroom number on it. Will they deliver it to the new room or do I have to go find it? What do we do with our luggage tags?
 
With the luggage tags, you simply cross out the stateroom number and write in the new one.

As far as the box, I suggest you go to Guest Services when you get onboard to explain the situation. :)
 
I agree you should go to Guest Services, but you should also check your previous room to see if they were delivered there by mistake. We sent a box ahead but upgraded at the port. The box was delivered to our old room and the kids in that room already started opening the box and eating some of the candy! Not a big deal, but be sure to keep checking your old room just to make sure.
