I still have to do a trip report because I have so much to share (the scavenger hunt to tell our daughters was AMAZING! I can't wait to share the video of their excitement and shock).
We were at AK last Tuesday (Jan 22nd) and as we were heading to get Mickey, Minnie and Goofy's autographs, a CM came up to us and started talking to us. She was dressed in black slacks and a white and black striped shirt. I kept looking all over here for a sign that she was part of the Dream Team, but all I noticed was her name tag and the ear bud in her ear. She asked us if we were going to be around long enough to see Mickey's Jammin Jungle parade that day and we told her that we had planned on watching it.
Then she turned to my dd's and asked them if they knew how to wave in a parade. I immediately got all excited because I had a feeling that I knew what she was leading to. Sure enough, we were one of 5 families chosen to be in the 3 o'clock parade that day! We got to go backstage and we had to wear safari vests, safari hats and we had our own float! Ours was red (we had to walk up steps to get in our seats on the float) and it was being driven by a guy dressed up as a crazy looking bird costume. Here's a link to the float that we were on (this is NOT us on the float...I'll post my own pics when I get them developed):

Minnie Mouse was directly behind us. One of the CM's took pictures of us with a disposable camera and we were given the camera as our float was heading out the gates to begin the parade so we could take more pictures after the parade was over. We weren't allowed to take any pics backstage though. They also gave us a locker to put all our belongings in.
It was so much fun and a great memory for our kids first trip to WDW!!!!!
