We were grand marshals of MK parade

Just got back from WDW on Sun. We were picked as grand marshals of the parade on Feb 9. We got to the park around 8:30 and had just started walking down main street. My son went up to a cast member to trade pins. We got talking to him and then he asked us to be grand marshals. It was awsome! We each got ears with our names on them, a free 5x7 of us in the parade and a very nice certificate saying we were grand marshals. Not to mention the fact that they announced our name to all of the MK every 5 minutes during the parade. By the way the cast member in charge of picking people is Dean. He is 60ish with salt & Pepper hair, looks rather important and was standing on the left side of main street. If you see him talk to him. Maybe you'll get picked too. Let me know if you do.

Dean is a sweetheart! He picked us to be grand marshalls several years ago. I try and see him every year and get my huggy. My trip to DW is not complete until I have my huggy from Dean.
