We are in Disney right now and have seen TONS of dream squad people, but have not seen any actual dreams happening for people.
But we had one on Sunday - our first day in the park (myself and DD who is almost 12 yrs). It was about 12:05pm. We had 'just' walked into MK and were approached by a dream squad guy. He started asking us what our plans were for the day, where we were from, who we were with,etc...... and then said for us to meet him back there by the rocking chairs on the porch of that building by the entrance at 1:15pm for a 'big, HUGE surprise'.
So we went off, rode small world and walked back to the place to meet him. We got there at 1:10 and he was waiting for us.
I couldn't stand the waiting!! What did we win?!!!
He walked us down to the back of the building and said we had a BIG surprise waiting for us. He handed us these cards and a marker and brought us to a curtain. Everything was super quiet and he said...
"Ok...ready - there is a BIG surprise behind the curtain...." (my mind is racing....is it one of the 'big' prizes and the whole dream squad is waiting for us????????). He opens the curtain and standing there is Cinderella. We won a private meeting with Cinderella........oh man...what a let down.
Dont get me wrong, I was thrilled to win 'something', but quite honestly this dream was kinda wasted on us - my daughter is almost 12 and well past the disney princess stage. It felt really awkward actually. I really think the dream guy should have found a family that had a little girl or 2 - under the age of 7 or 8. To give this to a 12 yr old and a mom is not really a good use of the dream. I felt bad, because I know there are tons and tons of little girls who would have killed for that dream, whereas we felt like we couldn't leave fast enough. We really didn't have anything to say or ask her. We got some pictures and left.
Anyway it was neat to be 'dreamed', just too bad it wasn't little girls who got this one.
