The longest we saw for wait times for rides/attractions was 40 minutes, and that was a 4pm in the afternoon. Our kids (5 and 7) were afraid of the really big rides so we didn't get to experience them this time. Hopefully next time they will be more daring. Being a Disney-lover and big planner, going to Universal was both relaxing and surprising. We loved it! I didn't have to spend months planning our strategy and dining options...we could wing it and be totally satisfied. We stayed at Springhill Suites Orlando Convention Center and loved it. Here's a link to my full trip report for those who are interested. I have photos posted there, too. I can't wait to return to US!!!

Glad u had a good time....it IS a VERY different experience from Disney! Btw, clicked on your link...don't see anything labeled Jan. 2007 :confused3

Glad you enjoyed Universal! I agree that its relaxing and exciting all at once. That's why we love it so much. I dont come home feeling like I need a vacation from my vacation. It does take some getting used to not having to plan out each moment. I am looking forward to reading your trip report and viewing your pictures!

Glad you had a great time! I find the slower pace at US/IOA MUCH more inviting - especially with 3 kids!!!
