We took our 2 year old to Disney World and guess what?

Love it! We took my daughter at 10 months and now we're returning Friday for 8 nights at 2.5 years. She is amazed by all things Disney so I can't wait to see her little face when she "sees" it this time.

This morning as I was leaving for work, she ran up to me (I had a skirt on which is unusual for me) and said "oooooohhhhh, Mama....you are a princess....so pretty...." :lovestruc First of all, there is nothing like a chid's love (particularly when you know you are far, far from being a princess lol) and second of all, seeing her joy makes up for all the "ick" in my life. So, needless to say, the next four days can't go by quick enough!!!

We had the BEST TRIP EVER. If you are ever debating taking your toddlers and thinking it might be too much work- STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND DO IT. I thought I'd share the video I just finished and you will see how much fun we had. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMQcu9WFIIw&feature=youtu.be I know threads pop up all the time about the best age to take your kids, tips for going with toddlers, where to stay with toddlers, etc. And I can tell you I read them all and I worried about all the usual things, but it was worth every penny. I hope this gets some of you excited about taking your little ones :) And for all you naysayers who say 2 is too young, I know he won't remember this trip but my husband and I will remember this FOREVER  *And no we didn't pool hop, we went for two weeks- one week at AKL and one week at AoA, both were fantastic for little ones. We used Disney transportation (which I worried about a lot with a toddler, but it went off without a hitch). He napped in his stroller, he loved the characters, he even loved the airplane, and he was seriously better behaved than he is at home (there must be something in the water there, and I wish I could bottle it and bring it home!).
Glad to hear it went well for you guys!

OH my gosh!!!!! I was ok until I saw him dancing with Woody and then I got misty eyed. We took my oldest daughter when she was 2 as well, and the photo's and video's get me everytime! We are going back in February, and my youngest turns 2 in December so I am SOOOO excited!!!!

Ummm...how has no one commented on the fact of what you said in a comment??!?!?! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Do you know if you are having a boy or girl by now?!?!?! EKKKKKKKKKK :goodvibes

Oh... and just a side note. Honestly, I just want to say it is beautiful to see what happy parents you both are. You both has such genuine smiles the whole time. It is so nice to see people enjoying parenthood as much as you are. My girls are my world and making them happy is what I strive for the most, and it looks like that is the same for you guys!

Thanks for the sweet comments- it really is a blast being a parent, right?!? Our little July arrival is a surprise so we'll find out if it's a boy or a girl in about another 10 weeks! But I am already counting down to his/her first WDW trip! Over a 1000 more days to go, haha!

We just returned from Disney last week. My DD is 2.5. It was by far the best trip ever. This trip was my 7th. Seeing the magic through her eyes was amazing. My highlight was lunch at Hollywood and Vine. She dressed up in a Sofia dress and got a lot of attention from Sofia and danced with her. If you ask her, she will say meeting Anna and Elsa was the best. So many amzaing memories, so glad we went! The only melt down we experienced was when we got to MCO and she realized we were going home. She wanted to stay with the princesses. Her favorite rides were Aerial and Small World. I will forever hold the memories we created in my heart. Also she came back with a crazy imagination. The things she does and says is absolutely adorable. The magic lives on :)

I feel like a total creeper, but I had to come back here to share that when I first posted, I was misty-eyed after seeing your video and imagining my then 3 month old DS' first trip to WDW. Now he's 19 months and I shared your video with him to introduce him to the idea of WDW for his tentatively planned first trip in November. He loved it so much we probably watch it once a week. I'm so glad I remembered your video, bc he barely noticed the Disney Planning Video, but grins, laughs and squeals over yours (especially the Mickey cameos! ::MickeyMo) And it still makes me misty eyed. Thanks again for sharing it.
