We took a 2 year old...

I'm so happy to read this post! We are taking our 2 year old daughter at the end of February and are really excited.

It sounds like you had a magical time!

It was and I would do it again in a heart beat…
Post Disney…DS has slept with his Mickey and requested to wear his mouse ears daily. I go to check on him at night and he is holding Mickey's hand or snuggling with him :lovestruc
We keep watching the videos of him with characters
We continually listen to the Finding Nemo soundtrack.
It's still magical.

Glad to hear your trip was a success. We are planning to take our son in October, when he will be 2y10mo.

He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so hopefully our trip will go as well as yours. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh! I was terrified that the rest of the sentence would say "And it was a DISASTER. Parents, don't do it!"

We're taking DD, who will be 18-months-old, in December. I've definitely had people look at me like I was crazy for taking a kid that age, but I am feeling better than it has the potential to be amazing for all of us. :)

I think the most important thing is to go with the thought that you'll take things as they come and not have a set plan or "we must see everything" philosophy. We knew our kids might be scared of the characters and not want any interaction (which was how my daughter was) and that they might just want to be at the pool every day, and we were ok with that. I'm definitely happy we took them at 24 months!

We are huge fans too!

Nope it was fabulous…although this week we are happy to be home… :cheer2:

We had low expectations and went with the flow. Most times, he was the one that pushed through…(ok so there might have been that one character interaction that I figured we had to have…and I take full responsibility for the melt down in line to see Sleeping Beauty…This was easily resolved with Lefou Brew!)
