We were hoping to book a 5 day we cruise out of Miami for late Feb 2018. The price is $1,000 more than what I could book the same cruise for in 2017 NOW. I thought the prices would be lower opening day. Now I'm not sure what we will do. The only cruise in the price range I was hoping for is too early in the month (won't be as warm).

We may not get to sail Disney

There is very little if any difference in temperature between any weeks in January and February in either south Florida or the Bahamas.

We were in Mexico late January this year and it wasn't all that warm. I'm not sure it would be warm enough to swim (at least it wasn't this year). That's why we were hoping for later in the month. Too bad. Maybe we will consider RCCL. But I'm worried about entertaining the kids.

yeah..same fantasy year over year Easter is about $1200 more for me. so not going that route. was hopiong magic 5 night would b eless..but still works out to $1400 per night for our family of 4. Fantasy is about $1350 per night. Wonder is about $1100 that week. might just have to take a year off.

Prices are just ticking up every year now. The recession is over and people are vacationing again. Disney will keep the prices going up as long as the demand holds on. Being on hold 45 min yesterday to check prices proves the demand is still there.

I paid around $5100 the first week of April 2015 on the Disney Dream Concierge level for 2A2K. That same cruise in 2018 is $9800. Amazing!

Glad we got to experience Concierge for a more reasonable price. Won't be doing it again at those prices.

Looking forward to when Virgin Voyages starts...

All of the concierge around spring break is always ridiculous..............and the fantasy and dream are at the top of the pricing for concierge on top of that.

we always book concierge on off months.
