Just back from an 8 day OKW (home) stay. We arrived after 9 PM and we were given a 1 BD in Building 62. Although a trainee handled our check-in, her supervisor, who gave us our "Welcome Home!", commented "who do you know?" We know NO ONE. And we made no special request. Overall, we were very happy to be in a new building: well stocked, i.e. 8 tumblers, mugs etc.; new appliances. We love being close to the Hospitality House. However, our rm. was at the very end of Building 62 (rm 6226) and there was alittle too much noise, esp. since there was alot of "outside refurbishing" going on. [we got the standard Disney printed pre-apology as we checked-in] The noisiest part was the re-paving, which entailed early morning gravel/sand drops, from trucks that went beep-beep as they dumped. Overall, good trip and a much-needed family rest. I'll sprinkle our eating and travel info thru out the other boards. But I would just like to thank the previous resident in rm. 6226 because they washed their four towels and a dish towel before leaving and forgot them in the washing machine. Although we had to re-wash them, we felt like royalty having 8 towels and two dish towels!
