We Shared a SWW...and more! Done...At Home! (10/17)

Oh no! So sad its over! I have loved reading about your adventure!

Must say thought I know exactly what you mean about those well rested people arriving. So jealous! I always think that when you get to MCO near the monorail and you see people arriving on it. They look so excited and raring to go. I always look at them and want to cry! :rotfl2:

Can't wait to hear your plans for your next trip!!!!

You are so right, Laura -- I look at those people at the airport, too!! I can feel that excitement right now -- as a matter of fact, I think it's getting on that MCO monorail that gets me excited!!

Oy, I can't wait for February...on the other hand, I'm a little intimidated by Melissa! I know she won't cut me any slack in the morning after a long night...she's a machine!! :worship:

I'm thinking about a PTR, but I want to do it justice. And, how do you prep for it without the kids' aspect?? This is going to be truly a DIFFERENT PTR, if I do it...I would want to make it fun. :) Maybe starting early November? (Melissa...have to get together on this!!)

I think one aspect I had a hard time doing was writing with teenagers since so many I read involved small children and so enchanted! Sometimes I wonder what an "adult" trip would look like in my planning book!! :rotfl:

I will watch for a new PTR! :rolleyes1 When you and Melissa tag teamed at the beginning it was very good!! :goodvibes

I've started reading other people's "no kids" TRs to get some ideas, and have gotten some good ones!

To be honest, I almost feel like this is going to be like a teenager trip -- we get to go back in time and be teens, again!! :rotfl: Well...drinking teens. :lmao:

I am looking forward to the trip, but are we going to be constantly taking pictures of each other??? :confused3

We never really got drunk together did we? Hmmm, lots of time to make up for. :rotfl:

And believe me, I am not much of a machine anymore. Had to take a 3 hour nap this past weekend at WDW.:rotfl2:

Just let me know when the PTR is to begin!

When I took just Chris and Madison I felt like a teenager again...it was fun to just let loose, but there was no drinking!! I keep trying to get Keith to agree to an adult trip so we can do just that!! :lmao:

I'm thinking we need to think of some Rules of Engagement...that would be awesome! Like what we won't do, and what we absolutely have to do...or...maybe there aren't any absolutes? Maybe just...Absolut!! :rotfl:

And who doesn't love 3 hour naps? :cloud9:

I can imagine how you and your kids had fun together -- sometimes Jordan & I really have a great mom-daughter time, in a "teen" sort of way! ...it's amazing how easily I can regress...!

But even with your teen(s), you have to come back to being "mom" -- that's a must -- something I would never give up.

Totally...I love being a mom!!! :lovestruc And my kids are so great!! :thumbsup2

Having teens are such a challenge sometimes...but with mine it is usually their moods! :lmao:

I get so emotional when I return from our trips. I can't get on the DIS for months sometimes because of those who are just about to go on their trips. I was off today and decided that I could come back and read trip reports. I really have enjoyed your trip report. I was so sad when you were leaving!

And you can tell by the look on my face on that bus, I was not happy, either! :rotfl: But, it was a good, good-bye. If you had asked me before it happened, I never would have thought that nice drummer would have made a difference. It was personal, a personal good-bye!!! :hippie:

Okay, all you wonderful, wonderful people who dropped by occasionally to read my TR...thank you so much. I really appreciate being able to share this with you!

And now...the Pre-Trip Report for FEBRUARY 2011!!!

For those of you who haven't read PTRs before, they can be pretty cool, because you really get to know people. Please take a look at my shared PTR with my BFF...(in my siggie).

Thanks, and see you around the Dis-Boards!! :thumbsup2
