We were lucky enough to get breakfast at Cinderella's castle last week. I was fantastic. The food was great. The kids ate well and were well behaved and the "wishing ceremony" was perfect.

Our server told us there was going to be "an engagement today". We thought she meant something with the characters, but no, we saw a proposal! A man and a woman, with a lot of family around, got engaged right there in the restaurant. Their server presented the woman with a glass slipper with a ring in it. He asked. She said yes. Lots of family applauding and crying. My own husband was getting teary. Another server was waiting with a specail "glass slipper" dessert. Another server was waiting with two flutes of champagne. A photopass photographer was taking pictures. The whole restaurant applauded.

I turned to my 11-year-old son and said to him, "Now that's how you ask someone to marry you." I hope he remembers. :wizard:

What a beautiful start to our day.

AWWW!! I would have been bawling! That is sooo sweet! My DH could use a lesson! LOL!

Last year my DDs & I were having dinner at CRT when a proposal occurred at the table next to us. It was during the Christmas Wishes. I agree that it was so beautiful & romantic. We could hardly watch the fireworks for the excitement at the table next to us.

AWWWW!!! We got engaged at Disney and it was so special!!! She's going to gush about that proposal for the rest of her life. :)

While I'm sure that was cool to see, I'm in the minority here as I would not have been happy if I were that woman. ;)

AWWWW....now that's a proposal! DH proposed to me during a Marshall football game!!!! We went to Disney for our Honeymoon....our first dinner was at the castle...we got the slipper dessert, flutes of "champaigne", and confetti all over the table...it was so magical....I will remember it forever!

Wow. I love that story about the engagement at the castle. That couple will remember that forever and a day, for sure.

Tribus121's wife. Or should I say, Tribus121's better half? :p
