We received LOTS of compliments on our shirts

We just got back this afternoon from our 1st trip to Disney and we got a lot of compliments on our shirts. Here are a couple of pictures from our trip.

Thank you to everyone who designed for me. It was so nice to know what everyone was going to wear to every day! And we didn't have to buy any t-shirts as souvenirs because we already had them!

Here's the front of the white shirt. I got it off of rumblytumbly's photobucket site. I love that our last name is Smith because she had a lot of designs already with that name. The backs had our names with favorite characters/movies. My niece had High School Musical, ds had the Incredibles, I had Lion King and dd had the Princesses.

thanks; I didn't think these shirts were white; she had two sets of light colored shirts - I only thought one set was white - not this one. Thanks for setting me straight!

I think I'm going nuts, myself, from reading all these threads ALL the time! You're doing shirts for 20 people, or 20 shirts total? If you're cutting them out, I guess you're using dark transfers?

OT----thanks for the "how to" thread! I will DEFINITELY be printing that out before I start making my shirts. I have high hopes to make 35 shirts (7 shirts each, for 5 people) but we'll see how it goes! I think I goofed up, in getting 24 white transfers (b/c of the hp buy 1, get 1 free) and only 12 dark transfers. Oh well...we live, we learn. Have a great weekend!

I've got 20 people in our Grand Gathering. They all at least need 1 shirt. Plus all the 1st timers need a 2nd shirt, plus the grandkids need one for every occasion! My FIRST order to shirtsupplier.com was 29 shirts! I'll see how I do on those first. My limit of cutting out Safari Mickey heads is 20! I was gonna do the heads on each shirt but I gave up on that idea QUICK! Yep, dark transfers b'c I'm sure my mind isn't sharp enough to remember to reverse the image on the light transfers!

OT: I just printed out 3 of 5 transfers when I noticed the word "birthday" was misspelled. I guess the good news is that I didn't iron them on yet!

I just called a screen printer; they're willing to do the transfer iron on for $1.50 each. I'm thinking of taking them up on that offer once I get all the transfers printed!

Oh no!! Bless your heart....if that were me, I'm sure I would have ironed on the misspelled word, worn the shirt, and only noticed it after looking at pics the week after the trip!!

I'm confused about the screen printer...is it a company we'd all know, or just someone locally? That sounds VERY tempting....especially considering I spent $100 on new print cartridges that probably won't even make it through my 35 shirts!!

Should we start a new thread for our lil' chit-chats, or pm each other??? Hopefully we won't get flamed, b/c we are TOTALLY not talking about the cute Animal Kingdom shirts from the OP!! Anyway, we sound like we're in the same boat...I wish you & your shirts all the best. When is your trip?

the AK shirts are a "sand" color-very light but not white. The MK shirt is white. It's hard to tell in those photos though.
