The video conferencing is one thing.

It is funny you should bring this up. I was watching "You Got Mail" (again) and I was laughing at the AOL dial up and the fact no one was running around with cell phones.

"You Got Mail" is obsolete because people would just be texting or Facebooking.

There are hoverboards also, but they use fans pushing air down to work...Mythbusters made some hover things a few seasons ago, and I've seen some other ones online somewhere.

They're cool but not quite as compact or easy to maneuver as in the movie

I love those movies. Wish I had them on DVD. Somewhere I have them on VHS, another "ancient" technology.
