We need a TS lunch for Hollywood Studios

Not sure what to choose. We don't want to eat CS and would like it to be a sitdown meal. What places do you recommend and what is good?

People either love it or hate it, but we love going to Sci-Fi Dine-In every trip! The atmosphere of a 50's drive in movie is great along w/ the old clips of sci-fi movie trailers is great! The food is basically burgers, shakes, ribs, etc & we've always enjoyed what we've ordered. The Disney World website & allears has the menu posted.

We love 50's Prime Time Cafe. It's fun and there are lots of choices. We have never had a bad meal there.

Sci Fi is neat, but the food is not very good so we skip it now.

We absolutely love 50s Prime Time Cafe. Love the lighthearted atmosphere and being "scolded" by "mom" for having elbows on the table! We also love the Brown Derby, but it is a signature place. Food is great at both!

I'd pick either Sci-Fi or 50s Prime Time depending on the ages of those in your party. 50s Prime Time, to me, seems to appeal primarily to adults. I'm not sure children "get it" as much when they sing about "Idlewild" and "Car 54, Where are You?" I love it!

But for children, I'd recommend Sci Fi-everyone "gets" the horror movies there!

Sci-Fi with kids (they will like sitting in the little cars and the movies). We always get the burger and milkshakes there.
50's Primetime is cute too but I think you need to be older to get it. The fried chicken is really good there.

We like Mama Melrose. If I am having a burger and fries I would rather have CS, we like something more for a TS.

We usually do Sci-Fi ourselves but are skipping it for the upcoming trip.

I had an ADR at 50s Prime Time but was afraid with our large party of 10 it might be kindy tough to get a table for all of us.

So yesterday I changed to Mama Melrose. We ate there for the first time last December and I was VERY happy with our meal as were the rest of the family...and they are Italian!

Loved Sci-Fi, went twice this past trip, once with just our family, and once with DGrandparents. Both meals were good, and the second experience was made FANTASTIC by an outstanding waitress. Big thumbs up for Sci-Fi.

We had burgers, and the kids had hotdogs and pizza, and the movies totally kept the kids entertained. There isn't a lot of table space in the cars, and talking to the people behind you can be a bit awkward, but we really had a great time.

I have never ate at Sci-Fi but have heard good things about it. I would say either Sci-FI or 50s primetime

Best food, I'd pick Brown Derby but it is more expensive (or 2 dining plan credits). For an overall fun theme, delicious food, and outstanding milkshakes... 50s Prime Time. SciFi Diner is fun for young kids to sit in cars and watch old movie clips but food is no where near as good as 50s. Mama Melrose is just any Italian chain restaurant. Hollywood and Vine does not have great food for lunch or dinner, breakfast is nice if you have really young children who would like to dance with Agent Oso and Handy Manny.

i have eaten twice at sci-fi and once at 50 prime time. i really have to say that 50s prime time is soooooooo much better. the atmosphere at sci fi is cool but the food and service is not anything to rave about. at 50s prime time the food was excellent. we had our brother serve us. our mom was serving people at the next table. we had a blast.
