That was a rough loss for the Sixers. Show Embiid is the MVP. They will win in the end, and in Philly, so that's fine.

In other sports news, I learned what the infield fly rule was just now. And I think it's stupid.

The reason for the infield fly rule is because if you didn't have it, it's an automatic multiple out play for the defense. If the runners stay on the base, they can just purposely drop it and get up to 3 outs fairly easily. If the runners go to prevent that they can catch it and double them off.

So the ball is presumed caught and the runners have to remain where they are but can in fact tag. The infield fly rule doesn't apply to bunts that are popped up and does not apply to line drives.

Watching the replays, he didn't leave his feet to make the hit, but the impact took him off of his feet. I think he will get 1-3 games. He doesn't have the reputation of being a dirty player so that goes in his favor. It was so shocking to see that I feel the league has to do something, but his reputation will save him.
