Seriously. Why argue every little thing.
Housekeeping at least works at WDW. You don't. I would take their word over yours any day.
Such a dumb thing to argue about. Of course I think taking a microwave is dumb too.
Housekeeping is not the proper channel in this instance:
I emailed the Manager of Pop Century (who I met through another situation). Microwaves for the purpose of heating/eating food are definitely forbidden in the rooms. There are and always will be some instances where a medical reason will over-ride the resorts decision on this, but for everyday use, you are to go to the food court per the manager. I then emailed the manager at SSR (he recently moved over from Pop Century) and he stated that all his years at Pop Century the rule was always the same. NO Microwaves.
