We need a Bachelorette thread!

I feel bad for Ron. Glad he decided to leave and be with his family and friends instead of hanging around- I don't think he had much of a connection with Andi.

...guess I better pay more attention to the tv listings...:confused3

Pay attention! It's on AGAIN!!

This guy Dylan looks so disinterested and sad :guilty:... but he is GORGEOUS.

Never noticed him before now, poor guy!

Wow she really does not know how to handle this, you can tell she is a lawyer

I don't understand the *need* to tell his story. Especially to people he just met. :confused3
That really isn't first date material.

There are a LOT of people that are from Atlanta that don't have southern accents. Many are kids of transplants from the Midwest or northeast, so they have their parents speech patterns. Some "turn off" their accents for their jobs. I moved to Atlanta as a 9 year old, so I don't sound southern- but I have lived in the south almost 40 years. I definitely think of myself as a southern gal!

Most everyone says y'all once they have lived in the south more than a year or two. It might sound weird or fake to those who don't live in the south, but to those of us that do, we think nothing of it.

I suspect Andi has turned off her accent so that she can sound like the very intelligent, articulate lawyer that she is. For her then to pepper her speech with "y'all" just sounds weird.

When Dolly Parton says it, or Faith Hill, Dixie Carter, Delta Burke, etc, who have kept there southern accent, (or Paula Deen who accentuates hers,) it sounds charming for them to say "y'all."

She interrogates all the guys. They have to come up with interesting stuff to stay on her "witness stand."

No wonder why she was so furious with Juan Pablo.

I think you are right about that. Southern accents, for some reason, can come across as "unintelligent" to people not from the south. I can hear a very slight twang to some of Andi's words- she has probably learned to minimize her accent for her job.

Her hard "I" sounds you can still really hear it.

Good point...I like it though. Its such a change from all the kissing/lack of talking last season. She is one of the more real Bachelorettes, I think (as real as one could be on a reality show lol...)

Dang they messed me up with this 2 night mess! I'm just now watching last nights because I totally forgot! What does a pantspreneur do? He owns a pants shop or something?

Of course Andi has a "poker face." She's an attorney. They have to develop one, that becomes natural to put on in court. Plus, this whole process of this show, she's not supposed to let on so easily who she likes more.

Wow, that was a different ending. Andi seemed genuinely upset at Eric's death, even though they didn't part on the best of terms. The whole thing is really sad.

I like the basketball coach guy. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.

So who do YA'LL;) think is the secret admirer??

I think she sounded sadder BECAUSE of the way they parted. Like she said, you can't get a do over....

He really sounded like he wanted to bail. I was wondering why he left so early, now I get it.

My son has a better name for the secret admirer, he calls him the "butt"( NOT THE WORD USED) kisser.... :rotfl2:

My favorite so far is the farmer, I think his name is Chris. He is SO handsome! I love his dimples. He reminds me of Matthew McConaughey (sp?). And I think he is a gentleman.

I like Andi over all, but "staaaap" is SOOOO annoying!

I don't mind the staaaaaaap and the y'all, but what is grating my nerve is what I will call the "fake shock open mouth gape" that she does constantly. Like when Coach made the half court shot, she stood there with her mouth open for a good five minutes. (even though knowing what I know about reality TV, odds are that it took a good twenty takes to make that shot!)

I thought the ending was kind of a downer, but a good tribute. I really got the sense from the way the other guys interacted with him that he was a great guy- he was a friend. I hope maybe the producers could compile a lot of the stuff that ended up on the cutting room floor for his family. I know if I lost someone, that would be such a treasure!

And I understand what Andi was saying, you say goodbye to these guys, knowing that you'll see them again- at the Men Tell All, at the ATFR, at the the Bachelor alum parties. Possibly on Bachelor Pad. The goodbye isn't permanent. But in this case it was, and so there were things left unsaid.
