We Met Our First Green Alien :)

Disneyluvr2 and I were at the parks this past weekend. We both have our "Dis Green Mickey" hanging on our backpacks. We never saw one. Then when we were waiting to cross the crosswalk on Harbor, a woman walked up behind us and said "hello". Finally, we met a fellow Dis'er. I believe her board name is Lynn King.

What is a green mickey? I here people talk about them but I don't understand what they are or what they are for.

They are little green Mickey Mouse head tags that people put on their backpack, bag, purse, etc. so that people on this board can recognize each other at the park. Some people get the Mickey Mouse paint samples from Home Depot. Others just make them on their computer.

I've got mine on my backpack and have been in the parks the past two days without seeing any others. We'll be here through Saturday - if you see me, say "Hi!"

I also met Pumpkin1955 (please correct me if I have you name wrong!) in the HM on Monday 10/20. I was so excited to finally have someone recognize my LGMH!

OH - me, me, me!

Today I was walking up to Space Mountain when I hear, "Are you a Dis Member?" I turned around in such surprise and gave a relative stranger a huge hug! She saw my LGMH on our backpack. We were both so excited we found each other. I immediately turned to my DH and said, "See??? I told you there were others!" I had him take a pic of us both holding our LGMH's - will post later.

So amazing and fun. I met "Husker Mickey" who I had posted a few messages on a thread we both were on - so we had met on-line here before too. I told her that no-one would believe us!! Truly amazing!

ive seen a couple people have them on! ive always wanted so much to walk up and say hi! but my mom would be like DONT TALK TO STRANGERS!:/ and id be like mom its ok there disney freaks like me! haha so yeah but im going to start doing that....does anyone have a design cuz i dont haha cuz we are getting passes in july so ill have more chances of maybe? seeing ppl in DLR

That's pretty cool! Looks like there have been a few LGMHs spotted lately.

I hope we spot some when we are there in November. From the November thread there are already 51 Disers that will be there during our 2 weeks stay. I am curious to see if I even spot one!

How fun & lucky you are to run into another member ! My family & I were searching all over the park to see a fellow LGMHs ! We just kept getting questions from CMs
