What a nice nice man. I got into a few conversations w/him. Gave him this website, etc. We took a few pics w/him and a CM took a pic of the 2 of us w/him too
DS asked me who Art is and I told him he's the BCs greeter - kinda like the Lodges Stan

Our home resort is BCV- so when you see Stan you know that you ar ereally home. He has to be one of the nicest castmembers I have ever met. The kids like trading pins with him so much that on out last trip (we stayed at OKW) we had to make a special trip to the BC just to see Art.

yup - on another thread I posted that upon checkin at the VWL we saw Stan at the front door. He told us "welcome back". The VWL is our "home". In 2001 we had the pleasure of raising the WL flags w/Stan. Saw him again when we returned this past Oct.

So thats how I compared those two wonderful men when we first met Art. You should have seen me-lol "Oh my God! Its Art!"

Im glad to hear that Art is still working.
I didnt see him on my last trip. but the again we only passed through 2 times.
Im staying at the BCV in Oct for F@W so Im sure Ill see him then.

I didn't see him on either of my last two trips, so I was worried that he had retired. He's a very nice man. When my son celebrated his birthday about two years ago at Cape May breakfast, my son asked Art for his autograph. He wrote an entire page-long message to my son. It was great.

I am so glad to read that Art is still at the Beach Club. We hadn't seen him in awhile.

There is a blurb about Art in the new DVC newsletter I received yesterday- what a nice man- I met him a few years ago and told him he was famous- and it was a pleasure to meet such a treasured cast memeber.

Yet another BCV owner who is glad to hear Art is still (again?) working at BC. We had also missed him the last two trips.

We saw Art a few weeks ago at BC too. He's awesome!! My son took his picture. He made sure to say "good morning Ladies" or "Good Afternoon Ladies" to my mom and I each time he saw us and asked how we were doing. He also struck up many conversations with my 8 y/o DS. My DS can be a little "shy" with strangers at first but Art got him talking!

We just got back last night from the BCV. We did not see Art until our 6th day there. I told him that I was happy to see him and wondered where he was. He said that he must have been at lunch. He seemed truly touched that we were looking for him. He said that if we do not see him to just ask for him. He said that if we were kind enough to ask for him, he would definitely take a break from his lunch to say hello. He is truly a gem.
