WELL WE MADE IT!!!!!
DAY 1
It is sooooooooooooooo great to be back at WDW!!
Our flight was fine, though we did have to connect thru Charlotte. The Disney Magical Express was when it finally hit me that we were here. This is our first stay at Old Key West. We usually stay at Saratoga Springs but this place is beautiful. We got to our room at about noon. Our luggage wouldn't be here for a few hours so we decided to have lunch at Olivia's in the Hospitality House. It rained a bit while we ate, but it wouldn't be Florida without a little rain.
After lumch we went back to unpack and decided we'd take some time at Downtown Disney.
Rain Forest Cafe
for dinner. We love to eat there and I still get a kick out of the elephants and gorillas. We finally meandered back to the room about 10:30 and collapsed. I decided to take advantage of the Vacuzzi tub. But I did learn a lesson about how much bubbles to put in the tub.
By the time I realized what was happening BUBBBLES WERE EVERYWHERE(pictures to follow)DAY 2, ANIMAL KINGDOM
We got a late start because I had to stay in-room for an online test in human development.
But luckily that is all the school work I have to contend with. We got to the Animial Kingdom at around 11 am. The weather is sunny and about 90ish. That I can handle. The first stop, according to my daughter Kara's day plan, was to hit Dinosaur
, this ride we love and dread at the same time. The ride is thrilling but my youngest Danielle has a real hard time with scary rides (but oddly enough loves the Haunted Mansion). So anyhoo we did Dinosaur and spent a bit of time in Dinoland..........
