We made it on Slime Time Live Yesterday!

We were at Universal last Wednesday and got to sit in on a taping of Slime Time Live. It aired yesterday and did my daughter
squeal at the sight of herself on Nickelodeon. Her friend from school was one of the game participants. We were just in the audience. But what a thrill for her!

On a different note, we were at IOA last Tuesday. That was the day the park guest suffered a heart attack. My daughter and I had ridden the Hulk last year, but I wanted my husband to give it whirl. We didn't ride, but that's okay - we were so very thankful that we, as a family, were all okay. My heart cries for that woman's family.

Very Cool! My kids would flip over that chance. Its just out luck they havent been filming when we visit. Hope you taped it for her..."claim to fame"!

It is so sad about that woman, I pray her family can find some peace. It does make me reflect and give thanks that we are so fortunate.

When we went last April my daughter and nephew went to the filming. They did not get picked to be in the audience. It was fun to do once but they both said they wouldnt sit through the show again if they didnt get picked to be contestants. (it was really hot the day they filmed).

It took alot of time, too. They were on the 1st taping of the day and were done around 11 am. The show aired the day after we came home, so they got to see themselves on TV. Pretty Cool.

We got to do Summer Slime Live........... and well lets just say, my sons "induldged" me!!! So I could see YOU KNOW WHO!!! It was fun though. Unfortunetely, that day was the same day of the huge blackout........... so, no one was able to tape it for us, and my sister messed up the tape she was trying to do...........OH well, maybe next time. I got my pics of Dave, so I'm happy!!!

This is new to me......Slime Time Live.......what's that then? Is it a quiz for kids where the looser gets "slimed"? and who is DAVE?

Slime time live is a show that comes on daily during nick cartoons. You can get on the show if you are at universal. This year though, during the summer hiatus from slime time live, they actually did another show called summer slime live, and for the first week I think..... Dave was the host ( he's also the host of slime time live). We got to be on summer slime, but since there was that huge black out here, no one was able to tape it for us..... my sister tried, but her tape messed up. Yeah, Dave Aizer is the object of my drool............ LOL! If you've ever seen him, he's a cutie!!! and he blew kisses to me during the show!!!! it was funny.......... my son's said he was "smitten"!! He is a nice guy. Do you get these shows over there?

Not sure...we do get nick and nick junior, though kids don't watch it so much now.
