Well I paid for my condo in Wh hills last night and drove down today. My condo is great..I'm so happy. I still don't have tickets. Kgs and official ticket center are close in price. Which one would u use? Ut and ticketmania are slightly cheaper...but don't think they have tickets lying aroound. I need them so I can go tomorrow. We are also going to try and make a ressie for mythos, the Mexican restaurant and Viva Italia ! Hope those are good choices?

i have no suggestions on which place to use for the park tickets.
but i would go with the place where you could buy them before the park opens so you can get started on your dark side vacation......

Ok....so im renting a 3 bedroom condo in Wh. @ mousecrazy....I went with frank torrell. ..couldn't be happier. So I have had stomach issues so haven't been eating too much. But today it was better. We got our tickets at official ticket center. It was easy and painless..not to mention cheaper.

We got to universal a little late due to having to run to global to give them my credit cad. Thought we were done for with wait times. It wasn't horrible! Remember we don't have ep. We didn't wait more than thirty minutes for any ride we went on. Most were 15 and under. N
Now we didn't ride despicable me, transformers or rp ride. Those times were long and we had so many other things to see. We only stayed in universal today. Didn't do much hp either. But we were happy with all we got done. It was hot!!!!

Tomorrow is islands . We will be there at opening and then we will go back and immediately hit lines we didn't get to do.

We ate lunch at Richter. We didn't care where..we were so hot..lol. I had a salad just to make sure my tummy was ok. Dh was hesitant about buying refillable cup. But while we wre waiting for him and my girls to get off a ride...my son and I err so thirsty and I realized if we bought it at the beginning..it would have been paid fir. So I bought two. Can we also get overs and slushies? I asked the cm about bringing it back even though it clearly states one day. Cm told me I could bring it back and refill another day..


We ate at Vivo. I made a reservation using the universal site....so easy. Itwas perfect timing because it started to storm. Food was really good. Kids pizza is huge! Dh had risotto and liked it. I had chicken parm. Awesome. Dr had linguinie and clams...ate all of it. We really enjoyed the dinner. I made reservations at the Mexican place...maybe I should change it if its not good?

Tomorrow is Mythos. I'm excited. I got my trex dinner too! Wednesday is the space center. I'm open for dinner on this day so will have to figure it out.

Macraven...I'm so happy I bought those cups!!! It really was a great day today. We really love universal. It was so easy to get tickets, purchase the mug, make reservations!!! I didn't have to wait an hour for dinner with a reservation either!! I feel free! Didn't feel tied down. I was surprised that they allow smoking in the park though.

the darkside is similar to the motherland in that they have designated smoking areas.


the only time i have seen smoking outside of the designated areas has been during crowded times at hhn.

it's still against the UO policy and the TM's do enforce the no smoking out of designated sections.

That's annoying, I hate when smokers are not in the smoking area.

You can bring those cups back and refill with soda as many times as you want. We've been using the same red cups for years. We also bring back our popcorn bucket and get the discounted price when we refill it.

Hope your are enjoying the parks. We really enjoy IOA. The comics area is fun and some great rides in that park.

Unless you really want mexican food, I'd try Nascar or another restaurant for dinner. My kids also like NBA and the Hard Rock too. Now we may put Vivo on the list. We enjoy pasta and pizza.

Thanks Lynne! Well today was much more crowded. We went to islands and didn't get to ride everything we wanted too. My kids loved the hulk. They waited about 20 minutes. That was great. Spiderman and doom had a much longer 75 minute wait.

I brought back my cups and refilled three times. The first two I waited in the food line. We went to the terrace restaurant where the server told I didn't have to wait in line for just a refill. The rest of the people are getting food...so that was good to know.

We ventured over to Hogsmeade. It was so crowded. ...but man is it awesome. I don't care about HP but was very impressed.

Kids loved the rapids...think they were Popeye? We ate at Mythos. I had fish tacos. Dh and Dd had pad Thai. It was ok. We liked vivo better.

After dinner ...got on the forbidden journey...fantastic! Only a 30 minute wait.
Tomorrow is the space center. We are thinking of buying ep for one day....

Ok so no to the Mexican. Where is a good place for seafood? Kids want to go back to vivo. Lol. Any other recommendations are great. Don't want hard rock...we have been there....

They sell them at any of the quick service places, price varies based on cup, I think the cheap one was $9. Refills are 0.99.

Yea..$8.99 for the regular red cup. There are others that are more expensive. Transformers looked cool. Think they are $11.99.

Today was our space center day. We got to sleep in which was great. We were exhausted from universal yesterday. We got there around noon. My kids didn't like it at first we did the little things and then saw the Hubble imax. The kids really liked it. Then we went on the bus tour. It was fantastic. I loved it. The kids really liked it too. We went to Atlantis after and I felt chills. To me. It was amazing. Kids enjoyed it...very successful day. The tolls though! My goodness! My husband went the wrong way and we paid to get off and then he hopped back on the right way, and we had to pay again! We felt like we had to pay every five miles! FYI if anyone else goes and hasn't before, bring dollars, quarters and Florida does not use ez pass.

So we left at 7:30. We couldnt believe we spent so much time there. We got a quick bite to eat and headed back to the condo.

So tomorrow is the free day....we are going to call official ticket center and see if we can add a day to our three day tickets. That way we have two more days at universal.
