We loved Vistana, so where next?

We are new menbers of Intervale International. We stayed at the Vistana resort last trip and we loved it. I always like to try new places. Are there any other timeshares that are as good? We were on the top floor of Lakes so it was one of the nicest sections.

II has many wonderful resorts. You don't say whether you are looking at Orlando or Worldwide. That makes it a bit difficult to answer.

Your best bet might be to join the Timeshare Users Group at www.tug2.net . They have a members-only resort review section that is wonderful. I don't ever book a resort without checking there first. You may not agree with all of the reviews, but if 10 out of 10 people hate or love the resort, at least you can see a trend. It is money well spent.

The Vistana resort was also our first timeshare experience and we loved it. We haven't stayed in anything other then timeshares since. That said, as nice as the vistana resort was there are even nicer locations in orlando (the vistana resort is actually one of the oldest and has a few older sections but I'll bet you stayed at the cascades section like we did). The vistana villages are even nicer. We liked the Hilton grand vacation club better but our favorite is the Marriott Cypress harbor. I was able to get a rental for next year already at MCH. The only location we didn't like as much was Orange lake which was just fair. Lots of locations to choose from in Orlando.

I was thinking of Orlando timeshares. I'll have to look into the Cypress Harbor.
