I need to make my ADR's for our Oct trip on Monday so I wanted to go over a few things with DH. When I read him the menu for WPC he said it sounded like a winner to him. We have never been there before but we LOVE WPE...will we love WPC?

I read the review on the Dis menu page and I have to tell you it scared the nuts outta me, I have never seen a warning in red on any menu pages before..and the review was 5 months ago so maybe things are better now??

Any pictures and opinions would be helpful, thanks in advance!

Weelllll, I love WPE. Can't wait to try the newly renovated one. But, I can't say the same for WPC. It's just too trendy for me. I ate there a year or so ago...wasn't all that impressed. But, I'm a real plain eater...so anything trendy isn't going to appeal to me.

Forgive me, I'm not the best with abbreviations. I am assuming that WPE and WPC are Wolfgang Puck Express/Cafe? If so, we ate at the cafe last year for a late lunch (3 pm the day of departure) and it was the best food we had all week. I had a macadamia nut crusted chix and DH had a salmon something. We are not adventurous eaters and we loved it. It is one of the places we look forward to returning to on this visit.

macadamia encrusted chicken!!! and the spring rolls were heavenly! Loved WPC.

I also love WPE (especially that creme brulee  ) but was not impressed with WPC. It was okay but that's about it.

One place that really surprised us was the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs. Fantastic food!

Wolfgang Puck Cafe is one of our not to be missed. DH gets the Macadamia Nut Crusted Chicken and I get the Pumpkin Ravioli with Chicken every time. We love these too much to try anything else. Also the butternut squash soup for an appetizer. We usually get a "take-back to the villa" order of the carrot cake for eating later. YUM!!! for everything!!!

MickeyNicki - I read that "warning" review on the DIS menus page and wondered "Was this the same Wolfgang Puck Cafe we like so much?", but I can understand that they had a less than optimal experience there which I can only hope doesn't happen too often!

We ate at WPC Sept. 2007, and it is one of two restaurants my DS requested we go back to this year and we all agreed. I had a fish dish which was quite good, only eclipsed by the bite of that macadamia crusted chicken my son ordered and shared with me, and my DH had a very good pork chop. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all top-notch, and we had a wonderful waiter. Our only problem was some weirdness from a young lady at the check-in podium, but after that things went smoothly.

Although the restaurant was a bit loud, I'm sure by the end of our Disney vacation and eating at other Disney restaurants, we wouldn't have even noticed!

I think the "spirit" of the food is similar to the Wolfgang Puck Express, which we also enjoy.

Unless you go there on a night the kitchen is off, or your wait staff is mad at the world, I think you should be ok. Hope this helps! :goodvibes

We loved both.

Ate outside at WPC last trip and it was really really nice.

Everything we had was delicious, with great service. Their sushi was really good!

Cool! Glad to hear some positives, it is rare when DH gets very into a menu and this one he was pretty excited about.....

Thanks you guys!
