We leave tomorrow for month trip...dd has temp today...

Well, I was going to post today that we are leaving tomorrow for a month and wish everyone well, but now if I could also add a request...

My dd (7) wasn't herself yesterday evening and now has a temperature. I kept her home from school today. I thought it was just allergies at first, but going to see the doctor as soon as I can get her in today. Hopefully its not anything major.

Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as we head out tomorrow on our cross country adventure. We are looking forward to seeing parts of this beautiful country that we've never seen before.

I had fevers all the time when I was a young child. They would last 2-3 days then I'd be fine. No other symptoms, just the temperature. Mom would keep me quiet, home from school, and "let it run its course." Hopefully in a couple of days your DD will be just fine too, and you can thoroughly enjoy that trip you have planned. I will pray for safety on the roads and that you have a wonderful vacation with your family.

My ds had the same thing this spring and it was his allergies. I hope thats what it is and you have a wonderful trip.

Why does that always happen right before a trip? Hope she feels better soon and it's a very short fever.
