we leave next week for disney!!! 1st timers help

hi everyone,

we are going to disney for the 1st time, i am 41, on dec 8th.
please someone from florida tell me your weather and any advice for us 1st timers. all our reservations are made for dinner and the very merry christmas parade. what kind of advice can you give me. we have the meal plan

I have been checking the weather and it has been in the low 80s, but a couple of weeks ago, it was low 70s. I am hoping the warmth continues.

We will be passing by you at some point as we are leaving in just a few days, too!

Hi twinybb, I dont know about the weather, but December 8 1965 was a great day for me also.

and I am packing a little bit of everything - capris - sweats, pants - short sleeve and sweat shirts - taking our coats (since it is 25 and freezing rain here) - I figure I will be prepared for everything and if not - then it's a excuse to buy what ever we need

Just take jeans, pants, shirts, hoodies, light coats, knit hats, and gloves. Layering is the way to go. It can be warm during the day but really cold at night. Have a great time!

I agree with the "pack a little of everything" statement. You never know what the weather will be like. It could be close to 80 degrees one day and in the 50s the next. Seriously. It's toss up sometimes. You should be good if you bring some hoodies or sweatshirts to put on at night over T-shirts.

My family went for the first time when the kids were the exact same age as
your kids. It was PERFECT. They really enjoyed it and remember that first
time vividly. We will be there again Dec. 11-15. Now they are 25, 23 &21.
