We just joined DVC in January and took our first trip home in May - LOVED IT!! We just added on 50pts to AKV! I can't believe DH agreed to add so soon!! It was so easy - our guide is the best! Called him yesterday and points are there today!! We also got 2008 points which we will bank and use for our 1st Disney holiday trip next year . How will I make it untill Dec 2010??!!

Congratulations. We added on 50 points within a month of buying.

Hmmm, I'm a newbie and I'm a little confused. How can you still have 2008 points to bank? If you had a December 2008 use year wouldn't you need to bank those points by July 31, 2009? Something about the 4 month rule??????

I'm new too, but my awesome guide said they make exceptions if you just bought the points regardless of the banking deadline. So, he told me to make sure and call MS with in the next couple of weeks to bank them. It has to be done manually - not on line.

That's so cool. So you will really start out with 100 add on points! Thanks for explaining.

Someday we'll have enough points to do a December stay! There are so many dates we want to travel to WDW and all of DVC resorts we want to try out. It's a shame our points and monies won't stretch enough to do them all in one year. Now that would be heavenly.

WOW, this well known no cure found DVC disease has definintely hit your family. Be careful...be very careful....Addonitis is one of the strongest mind controlling DVC 'illnesses' I have every experienced!!!!!

Congrats on your add on!! We added on after 1 visit at AKV also. We love it!!!
