We joined! =) .. going on Sat! need advice!

Thanks for the awesome community.
We are heading to DL THIS SAT.. so we just had to join the forum!=)

We are huge Mansion and PoTC fans. We are kid free. We are big DLR fans!

So, our trip is for 4 days. We are staying at the GC, and I think the highlight of our trip will be Chef's counter reservations at the Napa Rose.. When we go, we attack the park like a precision team of park-ninjas!

I'm looking for tips!:

We love the park, we kinda do pins, but we are not big Disney swag/branded people.. We love the insider aspects and hunt of DLR, candy canes, hidden mickeys, some special pins.. any of the scavenger hunt type stuff!! ..and of course the holy grail of invitations (some day).

We really enjoy the park, inside the park.. I suspect that makes sense to a lot of people here..

What do you guys suggest we do that falls under these lines?

I once heard of a tour (not by disney) that shared a lot of the relics and history of the park, I suspect it's too late for trying to find something like that.. However, I suspect there is a ton to do that is off the radar that we have no idea about.

I heard about pennies, maybe we will do that this time.

..need more scavenger hunts =)

You could get a hidden mickey book, that would privide some extra fun. You can use it to simply find them or play a game.

You might be interested in having your silhouettes created. You can even take a picture in with you, of some one else, and have the artists create such.




By the way, I so totally love Halloween, the Haunted Mansion, and The Pirates of the Caribbean too.
