We Invite You to Relax as the Dining Room Proudly Presents a TR! *The End 12/24 Pg44*

Catching up!

Boo for clueless DH's! Men, in general, I think tend to be clueless. Some more then others, but generally clueless!

I have to say, you made me laugh with your EE experience! :lmao: I give you a lot of credit for actually riding! That picture really does say it all!

It sounds like you had a very relaxing and lovely afternoon & evening! I love it!

I'm sorry you hated EE! It definitely is nothing like BTMRR, so I can imagine going into it thinking that you would be very surprised. But yay for at least trying it! And thanks for sharing that picture!

How sweet of Marc to go get dinner at DTD! That box of fudge looks really yummy! :thumbsup2

I somehow missed the post about EE, but I'm guessing it wasn't your favorite ride from this trip. I must say, you are a far braver woman than I.

I am salivating over your food. I swear, posts like that should come with a disclaimer. That po' boy sandwich looks absolutely divine, as does the fudge, and cookies...and although the other things I can't eat because of the milk allergy, dagnabit! :lmao:

I'm glad you were able to relax at Nemo and take a chill after EE. That's a nice way to end the day.

All caught up:thumbsup2
I had 3 friends of mine on this past trip....I wasn't really sure of all of their likes/dislikes so I told them EE goes backwards, etc....All I heard coming from the seat in front of me was "I am going to kill you Tracy!" Whoopsie ;) Another one of my friends had back surgery last year and she went on all rides (she isn't afraid, just concerned about jerkiness etc.)...her friend Nicole came along and she is a physical therapist...told her to tighten her abs and her thigh muscles etc....she had no jerkiness and never got that feeling in her stomach that you get when you go down the big hills......this is all just fyi in case you ever find yourself compelled to go on another thrill ride :goodvibes
I am glad Marc redeemed himself and went and got you WP for dinner :)
I did quite a bit of night swimming/ jacuzzing last week....so relaxing after the parks and late dinners :goodvibes

Tracy

Oh LL! Just be glad you didn't ride Everest at night! :lmao:

I must say, I  EE and I couldn't wait to ride it at night. But it was about 1000 times scarier than I thought it would be. The track isn't lit at all and you can see the Yeti a whole lot better and a lot earlier without the daylight. My night ride was also the first time I walked through the standby line (we always used FPs, I guess).

It was an awesome experience for me! (And one I wouldn't recommend for you!) :rotfl2:

WPE...YUM! We ate there three times on our trip. But my DH never offered to go get it for me. I guess I need to work on my eyelash batting skills.

How nice to have your food delivered.;) It was the least he could do after telling you that EE was like BTM.:scared1:

Hey LL! So glad to get caught up! Hanging by the pool solo time in very nice. HOW fun. AND the cookies and fudge!! Oh how I miss those cookies! I had one here in Disneyland, but it wasn't the same as from Goofy's!!!!

Can't wait to hear what you have in store next!!!

Where have you disappeared to LL??? I want another update! Plus I've started my own TR. Come on over if you get a chance, link is in my signature :goodvibes

I'm here!!

Sorry everyone, I have been so very busy with work and school these last few weeks. I'm sorry I haven't had time to respond to the comments or get another update up.

I'm on my last adminstrative class at school, on December 9th I start my Clinical Classes which I'm really nervous about. I went out this weekend to buy scrubs, a stethoscope and a blood pressure cuff. :scared1: I'm so super nervous, I really hope I like everything about Clinical and this wasn't a big giant waste of money. :rotfl:

I will try my best to get an update up this week. My computer at home is barely working so I haven't been going on there much and I've been so busy at work that I haven't had time to post anything.

Thanks for being patient with me. I've been reading along on a lot of your TRs, I just haven't had time to post comments. :goodvibes

I completely understand, LL! How exciting that you bought scrubs, a blood pressure cuff, and a stethoscope!!! Will we get to see the scrubs you bought? Do you feel all "Grey's Anatomy" in them?

Good luck with the next part of your training! I hope you will love it! :goodvibes

Best of everything to you in all of your classes. We're proud of your goals and of every accomplishment along the way to getting there.

Best of luck with your clinicals. I am sure you will do wonderfully. Looking forward to reading more when you have time to post again.

Love your trip report!

I am a fellow 'bandster' got mine in November 2008. I've been to Disney two times since I got it, I can totally relate to your 'stuck' episodes. Can't wait to read about the rest of your trip!

Hey Leslie! Good luck with your clinicals. Don't worry about the TR - we will wait patiently for you to have time. Patiently, but anxiously!

Leslie, I'm so super excited for you to take the next steps with your training!! I think you will really love it, and can't wait for you to come back and tell us how it is going!
