We have transportation, but what route should we take?

We will be staying at Bonnet Creek, but will be heading to US/IOA for a couple days. We will have a rental car and don't know whether to take the I-4 or Palm Parkway/Turkey Lake Road??? Any help is appreciated. TIA

We will be checking into HRH for the day/night to take advantage of the perks, so we will be on the road very early... probably around 6 am

If you are leaving that early then I-4 would be the way to go, later in the day I would avoid I-4 and take the other route.

Well, sometimes I've stayed at an offsite hotel with a view of beautiful I-4. Looking out of the room at about 7 AM, I've seen I-4 completely jammed...and then again the next day. Perhaps there were accidents, but I'd be inclined to not risk it and take the backroads. Palm Parkway/Turkey Lake Rd. is a pretty decent ride anyway...

It's good information to have, thanks. Well laid plans still sometimes go wrong! We need to leave early if we want to take advantage of the early entry.
