We have to construct a robot tonight

DD9 wants to be a robot for halloween.

I have the box she is going to wear, and the aluminim foil to cover it.

How else do we decorate this thing?

I was thinking like pipecleaners twisted up etc... maybe felt squares or circles for buttons....???

get some dryer vent pipe for the arms and legs

make a printout of your computer screen and cut and paste to the front to make it look like she has a touch screen

get a headband and wrap some aluminium foil antennas on top.

Ever watch Futurama?

Put a hole in there front of the box and have her put the candy in there.

Buy a couple of knobs from a hardware store and screw them to the box.

We made one of those for my son. We used one of those 5 gallon plastic buckets for a head. We put celophane over the mouth hole (which is actually what he looked through). We used a couple of old AOL CDs for eyes. We took a garden tool that had three prongs and painted it silver. The dryer vent hose is a great idea for the arms. I think we used several cans of silver spray paint to color the cardboard box that we used as a body. We also made legs and shoes (more boxes), but James decided that the body, head, and arms were quite enough to deal with.
