We have started the gardening!!

Well Dh cut the grass today and broke the groundup for the flower gardens in front. The one we planted with Gladiolas, Iris's and something else!! I forget, we also have Dahlia's which 1 is planted adn I will try to get the other 5 planted this weekend!!!! BUt 1 bed is planted!! Now we just need to prune the roses and see who survieved the winter and decide if we are pulling the other shrub out and planting a weeping cherry tree or not and plan and break ground for the vegetable garden!!!

I finally got out htere yesterday, I have a large perennial bed to move....

Three housrs later and some is done but not all and i am sore!

Then the temp went in Boston form a high of 86 to a low here of 20 last night so I took some sheets and went and covered my babies. Sure hope I didnt lose any.

It's been a long time coming and even though it's going to be cold today, I think spring has finally sprung.

It feel so good to be creating beauty in the garden again. With some help from Mother Nature the ho-hum drab winter will soon be a thing of the past and the yard will be ablaze in color again.
