I'm jealous, my cousins have a house up there in the Gilford area and go skiing/snowboarding almost every weekend.

We had and additional 6 inches overnight, making it about 1 ft this weekend, on top of the old snow making it somewhere from 2-3 ft total.

That's why I like Europe. It never gets cold enough in the winter for the snow to stick.

I live about an hour north of Gilford. I've got an employee ski pass to Attitash, so I can go whenever I want without paying. It rules. I was out today for a few hours (and that's the great thing about not paying is that I don't feel like I need to get my money's worth) before heading home. Conditions were guh-reat.

We get maybe an inch of snow per year - if we're lucky.
It was around 60°F here today. It's supposed to be 80°F later in the week. Oh well.

It snowed here but just a dusting. The only time my college closed last year was when there was a huge snowstorm in March. They closed in the middle of the day so I was already there. It was blowing everywhere and the emergency signals were going off. THAT was a fun day!
