We have now visited ALL the Disney Parks

All I can tell you is the cost of food was extremely high.
Yes! I remember the night that we arrived in Japan. We flew in from Chicago and went straight to the Toyko Bay Hilton from Narita. We were starved, jet lagged and grumpy so we ate in the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Two tiny plates of pasta and non-alcholic drinks cost over $80 USD! We dropped close to $100 on dinner and we big Americans were still hungry! After that, nothing phased me price-wise except for the melons. The Japanese love to give expensive melons as gifts:

These melons were $50-$100 each in 2000!

Once we got out of the Disneyland area we were able to find restaurants which were much cheaper.

We have been to all of the parks as well (thanks to business trips and trips to visit relatives). Although I am partial to WDW (especially during Food and Wine time), our next favorite resort hands down is Tokyo Disney, however I have my favorites at both TDL and TDS. The gift shops are amazing, they have the cutest Disney cookies and crackers and everybody is so nice and orderly.

How would you compare DLRP with the other resorts???

take a look at my signature for all the dates and locations of the Disney things ive done...
incidentally, i plan to take a trip to tokyo disney resort in late 2007/ early 2008.

y does everyone seem to have this thing about comparing DLRP wiv the other resorts IN A NEGATIVE WAY? i looooove DLRP and wouldnt change it for the world. each resort and park is unique, has its own charm and character. u jus have to take it for wat it is. i know we all have our faves, but i dnt get all this complaining about it! im not sayin everyone or anyone here in particular, but it is somethig that has occured to me on many an occasion and quite frankly bugs me!! (oh and im reeeeaalllyyy looking forward to the new toon studios and ToT next summer hehehe...)

I know what you mean. The service is way above what you would expect in a european park and it is soo beautiful

That said I must congratulate you on visiting all the parks.
