We have a new family that just moved in on Friday. I was outside with my children blowing bubbles again when I saw them putting out their trash and recycling. I had to go over to introduce myself and welcome them to Texas and the area. I also wanted to let them know that the empty boxes that they were placing on the curb wouldn't get picked up. If it is not in the container it's not touched. She thanked me for the info then stated how windy it is here (I live just north of Ft Worth) and it was getting warm. I blinked several times and told her that the wind would stop at the beginning of June and it would be getting hotter. In July/August it would be close to 100 degrees. She stared and blinked with disbelief. She told me that it gets hot in Chicago but not that hot for so long.
I don't think she will be outside much this summer. Maybe next summer her two DS's will want to play.
Hey Dan, Do you know anyone that just moved to our area? You seem to know just about everyone.LOL
Happy Thoughts to all
