Fairly decent temperatures, not too hot, and plentiful rainfall has got out yard and gardens smiling and growing like crazy!

I've patched a few areas of the yard and they've responded wonderfully, filling in so very nicely!

I know it has been a brutally hot season out west, but I hope y'all have things growing well were you are!

We're lacking much needed rainfall, oldkicker, but otherwise things are going pretty well. I'm actually damp right now from moving the sprinkler around the backyard while it was still going. (Too lazy to turn it off between moves...;) )

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms all week, though, so I'm hopeful.

Glad to hear all is growing well in your area! :D

Fairly good spring here too. I may even plant the veggie's this week.

A little too hot yesterday 88 degrees. Temperatures are suppose too cool off a little today and tomorrow. Then back into the heat for the weekend. I am not a lover of the heat. It slows me down to a snail's pace, especially when it arrives early.

I'm like mamu...give me a nice cool, sunny spring and I'm fine. We had record rains in April so everything has greened up nicely.

There have been parts of this spring that have been absolutely awe inspiring. Clear skies, warm breezes and a chill in the evenings! Great weather.

We're now in the muggy, hot...is it going to thunderstorm type weather. It's not really pleasant and definitely too soon!

plants seem to be happy. And so far not too hot, although Saturday last was a scorcher.

Y'all? I don't think I've ever heard you say that before, Bernie! :teeth:

We're having a mini heatwave these last couple of days! Almost makes me want to put on the air conditioner...almost. :)

We've had lots of rain/thunderstorms, and the grass is the greenest it will probably be for the rest of the summer! I can hardly keep up with cutting it.

I'm a prisoner in my house at the moment. Our exposed aggragate (and colour dyed) driveway and patio are being cleaned and sealed. The stuff they seal it with is pretty foul smelling.....:crazy2: but it really needed to be done. Now, if anybody parks on it in the next few days, and their car is leaking anything....DH will have a fit!!! ::yes::

We've had a beautiful spring too! Enough rain to keep lawns green and pretty for a long time. Irises are beginning to bloom, and some clematis and peonies are blooming in the neighborhood. It's not a good plant but the honeysuckle that is so invasive is just thriving along the bike path around our neighborhood and the fragrance is beautiful.

I planted a flat of pink impatiens this week, and as I look at them, I realize that it's been a long time since I've planted impatiens, and I do love pink! They used to thrive in our PA house, but never did well here, I'm hoping for success this year. So far, so good!

I hope your driveway stays as pristine as it is now, Snowark!

Bobbi:D
