We have free Disney passes

We havent been to Disneyworld since 2003. We had a problem with our door so Disney gave us 5 free one day passes. I have tried to talk to my husband about going back especially when you can eat for free right now but he is not a Disney person. For as much as my kids and I love it he dislikes it. He liked the cruise though(December 2004)Well he promised he would go next summer (IF he doesnt we are going without him)Will they give me the value of the pass to use towards our room and length of stay pass. They also offered us Annual Passes at the 10% renewal rate(in 2003) Does anyone know the cost and WHAT SHOULD WE DO???

My guess is that they won't give you credit or bargain at this point.

We've been given passes in the past for problems (and still have some - good until 2020). I think when these comps are given it comes out of inventory for that resort. I know that isn't the proper terminology but I think you'll get the point. It is somehow accounted for in that resort for that year.

Having said that - You'll never know unless you ask.

They don't have length of stay passes anymore. It is the magic your way tickets now.

Do those one day passes allow hopping between theme parks? Do they expire? Do they include water park admission all on the same day?

You will probably get more dollar value out of those passes if one person uses all of them (carrying only one on any given day) and other family members get new passes. This strategy works only if everyone else does only the activities the single passes allow and everone else's pass has just the same features, such as no hopping perhaps.

Giving one to each family member works well on 1, 2, and 3 day vacations.

Suggestion: Figure out your ticket budget both with and without using those single passes.

You could sell his pass on ebay. We did that a few years ago someone actually paid more for a 4 day hopper than Disney sells it for. I guess they weren't on the Dis boards so they don't know how to get the best deals. We had fun with the cash though>
