We are just back from a week in the World! We had wonderful food and were very pleased with our ADR choices. So if there are any questions about these places, feel free to ask............

Donald's Breakfast at Tusker House
Teppan Edo
Crystal Palace dinner
Sci-Fi Diner
Whispering Canyon Cafe

Counter Service:
Flame Tree BBQ
Cosmic Ray's
Starring Rolls
Tangierine (morrocco)
Sunshine Gardens (?) Epcot

Snacks:
Howdy-Hay (outside of Mania in DHS)--slushies--coke and raspberry lemonade
Dole Whips
Chocolate Crepes (France)

Most everything was yummy!:woohoo:

How was Tepan Edo?? I just booked our ressie for November. Also Crystal Palace for dinner.

Thanks,

Dana

What was the vegetarian option at Starring Rolls--if you noticed--and did you do WCC for dinner? Did you enjoy it and what would you recommend?

Thanks!

I'll be making ADRs for our first trip in a few weeks, and we're hoping to go to four out of five of the TS restaurants you mentioned. It's reassuring to hear that you were happy with them! :thumbsup2

Teppan Edo was voted our favorite food in our family! DH, me, kids 8,11,13. It's pretty standard for that kind of resteraunt but very, very yummy!!

Starring Rolls--if I'm remembering correctly, they had a veggie wrap. Their sandwiches were amazingly good, so I'm sure the wrap would be good as well.

WCC--What a fun dinner atmosphere! It was very good food. We (adults) got the skillet--which included all you could eat ribs, brisket, chicken, cornbread, beans, salad. It was good, but we decided the ribs at the Flame Tree BBQ were the best we had. My DD got the Trout and said it was very good and she ate every bite. My other DD got the steak, which was huge. She also said it was good. DS8 got the salmon on the kid's menu and loved it.

We are going from 12/5-12/12 and are also planning on eating at:

WCC (after a sleigh ride at WL)
Breakfast at Tusker House before RD to get a head start
Crystal Palace for breakfast though (this is my favorite breakfast)
Teppan Edo (this was my 2nd choice - couldn't get into Le Cellier)

I am very excited about each of these. Even though Teppan Edo was my 2nd choice I am looking forward to it. I have eaten there twice before, so I know that I will enjoy it.

Did you do Tusker House before RD. How busy was it?? Is the buffet really chaotic? The reason for asking is that my DH doesn't really like buffets that much, so I am hoping that he will enjoy it (new to me).

I have been to Disney every year for about 4 years, but DH hasn't been in over 10 years. He is a real meat kind of guy, so I have tried planning around that. He will do a Japenese steak house here at home for me, so I know he will be okay with Tepan Edo.

I am most nervous about the dining for our trip because of DH. DD6 doesn't eat much and will be happy with what she gets. I also always carry a PB sandwich in my backpack along with some pretzels just in case she really can't find something to eat!!!!

My DH doesn't care for buffets either, but commented that Tusker House was wonderful. It was a fantastic meal and there was everything imaginable available. DH tried some unusual things and said they were really good. Yes, there was some meat, too--ham, I think. The juice they serve is awesome. The buffet area wasn't crowded, but the place was full. It wasn't rope drop, it was 9:30. While I checked in, DH went and got FP for Safari and we got straight on after our meal.

The only thing we didn't care for is they wouldn't put our picture with Donald on our photpass and then wanted $29 for it:scared1: Other than that, we loved it. Character interaction was better than Crystal Palace for us (but we were there late and they may have been tired).
