Before I get to the butterbeer I have to confess, I got Jurasic Park for movie night tonight. The boys (9,6,6) have never seen it and DH and I haven't seen it in years. I thought they should see it before We go to US so they could understand the ride. So I get snacks and we settle in
We are all excited, the movie begins so far so good. They are liking the dinosauers.. argueing who is the coolest dino and then T-REX

the lawyer gets eaten the kids get chased. My one twin jumps up "Mom are you crazy I'm a little kid this must be an R movie WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?? (I'm thinking you loved all the Star Wars movies, Transformers etc..) my other twinis tired and cranky so DH takes him up to bed. So I turn off Jurasic Park and think fast.
I brew my own butterbeer for my little Harry Potter fanatics. So I ask "who wants to watch Harry Potter and have a butterbeer?? They are all over it. So I get 3 large butterbeers and pop in Harry Potter and the Socerers Stone, AHHHH
I don't think my Mother of the Year plaque is in the mail after tonight.
If you won't get to WWOHP anytime soon this is how I make butterbeer, I get a glass beer mug. I put like 3 tablespoons of butterscotch syrup heat it in the micro till bubbly sometimes I add a pat of butter. Mix it well. Add cream soda. YYYYUUMMM. Butterbeer.
