WE WENT! WE RODE! WE WERE AMAZED! My husband and I just went to WDW the last week of July 2003. For those of you who may be there now, keep your eye out for a Mission:Space preview signs, or just ask a castmember if there will be one. They open the ride during these previews and it is so very worth it because the ride is not set for oepning until August 15th. It is what the air crew personnel (in the military) call the "Spin and Puke" or the "Disney Ride" because the ride system is exactly what these guys train on (no, it's not the type in Spies Like Us). My husband was in air crew and was impressed when we each got into our little capsules. You truly feel weightlessness, Gs and even your skin crawling up your arm. Each capsle sits four people and each of you are assigned a job: navigator, pilot, captain and commander. Then you are told when to push your buttons or use your joystick by Gary Sinese. Warning: if you get even the slightest bit of motion sickness I would not ride.
