We got the on-line survey!

I was hoping we would get a survey from our AKV stay last month, and today I got the invite and did the survey. I was glad I got to address the concerns and shortcomings we experienced along with the great things about the resort. I hope they actually listen to some of the concerns, because they are some of the same expessed by several others.

Who knows, maybe they'll rearrange the kitchens at least!

Don't you get the online survey every time you stay at DVC? We do. I don't think we've ever missed a stay yet.

We get the survey about 75 % of the time, not each time.

We've actually only gotten the survey a couple of times. I guess it's just the luck of the draw on if you get one or not.

I am glad you were able to voice your opinion and input on your stay. It's funny to be seeing this topic though. EVERY trip we take with DVC we get the postcard stating something like random drawing or select individuals and we laugh. It has become a little joke in our family since we get the survey each and every time. It is a joke I don't mind at all...I am glad they ask us for our opinion. I give them the honest truth on each survey. Nothing can improve if the decisions makers don't know something is wrong. Mostly though, I love sharing how much I love the resorts and CM who work there.

Wow, and I don't think in the 12 plus years of membership we have had a survey more than a handful of times! I was hoping this trip we'd get one though, so I'm glad we did!

I also got the survey (for each of the BWV and AKV stays last month). In the past, they'd come just about every other stay, but I still don't know if TPTB actually do anything with the results.

I hope someone can answer the question about why the sofa beds in Jambo House studios are unbelievably difficult to open and close! 'Til this past trip, I didn't take much notice because it was always just my late DH and me, and the sofas were just for sitting; this time, I had individual friends with me, and the difference between the one in the BWV and the one in AKV is enormous! My friend (and I) had to work together in order to manage the one in Jambo House! (Do you think it's 'cause there's no gym at the resort so this is the workout they provide? )

I thought the surveys were a new thing started in 2007. I've gotten them each and every stay since then, no matter where I stayed. I always fill them out and I've also always received an acknolodgement from them if I reported or complained about something not being up to par. Now what they do with them after that would be interesting to know!

Not only have I gotten one every stay for the past 4 or 5 stays, but my Dsis, who travelled with us on our points, but stayed in a different Villa with her family got one too! Go figure.

They asked specifics about things we liked and didn't like etc. They also asked general questions about condition of the room, housekeeping, friendliness and efficiency of staff etc. They included questions about the lobby and public areas as well as resort restaurants, pool, programs, etc.

It was a very good and very complete survey. I was able to give the exact specifics I wanted to.

We probably didn't look for it, figuring that between all the walking in the parks and the opening/closing of the sofa bed we met our daily exercise requirements.
