I know for some of you this may not seem like that big of deal because it is a year and half away, but since I have so little vacation, Thanksgiving '09 was really the only time we could go. Not being able to get reservations when they should be available was really distressing.

I took the advice to work with Rhonda at DU and she came through. We now have the full week of Thanksgiving!:cool1:

THANKS!

Congrats to you and way to go Rhonda! :thumbsup2

:cool1:  :yay: :cheer2:

Congrats! I'll be there then too. :)

It seems they finally opened up the rest of the dates for that time period on Tuesday, so I got the last day I needed as well. :) We'll have to schedule a group get together for then! Wahoo!

Hey congrats to everyone that got their dates, it really is a big deal whenever your on a time restriction because of work, so congrats. :jumping1: party:

Yes, thanks to everyone for the congrats and especially to Rhonda.

I was getting so frustrated with Disney Reservations that I handed it over to my wife at one point because I was sick and tired of the stories they kept telling me. She was the one that got the partial dates and was reaching the same level of frustration as I was we we decided we needed a pro.

It sure did tarnish the magic a bit. Thankfully, by the time our vacation rolls around this will all be a memory.

I went from a job where I got a combined 6 wks off per year to one that I get 7 days in 2008 and only 10 in 2009. Between periods at work that we aren't allowed to take vacation (spring break/month ends) and my wife/kids schedules, this was really the only time we would be able to go.

This will also be my oldest son's senior year and he chose to go to FW vs DCL so it was pretty important to get these dates.

Congrats to everyone else and I hope that availibility will get back to normal as they release more sites.

Congrats to you and way to go Rhonda! :thumbsup2

Yep I turned our planned Dec 2009/Jan 2010 trip over the Rhonda and am looking forward to avoiding some of the hassles I've have in the past.

Rhonda can you also take care of WDW cruise and normal resort ressies too? I'm trying to get our two sons to use you also. Gotta pass on the bennies as much as possible.

Yes! I do WDW and DCL reservations, as well as Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises, and Universal vacations!! I'd love to help them! Just have them email me! :goodvibes

:goodvibes Yeah. I know how hard it is to piece a reservation together. Next time we plan a trip to FW, I will be contacting Rhonda as well :thumbsup2
